✅ 1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using any part of FunMick ("the Site", "the Service"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher), that you have read and understood these Terms of Service ("Terms"), and that you agree to be legally bound by them.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using FunMick. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of any updates to these Terms.

🎮 2. Description of Service

FunMick provides a collection of free, browser-based entertainment and utility features including, but not limited to:

• Games — browser mini-games for entertainment purposes only.
• Tools — browser-based utilities such as a password generator, image compressor, age calculator, world clock, hash generator, and others.
• AI-powered features — features that send user input to third-party AI APIs to generate creative, novelty content (stories, code feedback, fact-like statements, etc.).
• Fun & experimental features — personality quizzes, brain teasers, and other interactive novelty experiences.

All services are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, add, remove, or suspend any feature at any time without prior notice.

⚠️ 3. No Warranty — "As Is" Service

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FunMick expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• Any warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• Any warranty that results obtained from using the Site will be accurate, reliable, complete, or suitable for any purpose.

You use FunMick entirely at your own risk. Do not rely on FunMick for any purpose where accuracy, reliability, or availability is critical.

🤖 4. AI Tools Disclaimer

FunMick's AI-powered features (including but not limited to AI Story Writer, Roast My Code, Vibe Check, Explain Like I'm 5, Random Fact Machine, Bio Generator, and AI Name Generator) use third-party large language models to generate responses. You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• AI outputs can be wrong, outdated, biased, offensive, or completely made up ("hallucinations"). Do not treat AI-generated content as factual, accurate, or reliable.
• AI-generated "facts" from Random Fact Machine and similar features may be entirely fictional. Always verify independently before acting on any information.
• AI story and creative content may produce unexpected, unusual, or mature-themed output. Use at your own discretion.
• AI code feedback (Roast My Code) is for entertainment only and does not constitute professional code review, security audit, or technical advice. Do not rely on it for production systems.
• AI-generated bios, personality descriptions, and vibe checks are novelty outputs only and carry no psychological, medical, or professional validity whatsoever.
• FunMick is not responsible for any decisions made, actions taken, or harm suffered in reliance on AI-generated content.
• AI models may produce content that does not reflect the views of FunMick.

We do not guarantee that AI features will be continuously available, as availability depends on third-party API services outside our control.

🛠 5. Tool Accuracy Disclaimer

Specific disclaimers by tool:

• Age Calculator: Results are provided for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for errors arising from incorrect input or edge cases (e.g. leap years, timezone differences). Do not use for legal age verification.
• World Clocks: Time zone data may be outdated or inaccurate due to legislative changes in various jurisdictions. Do not rely on for legal, contractual, or travel-critical purposes.
• Password Generator: Passwords are generated using browser-based pseudo-random number generation. While suitable for general use, we make no guarantees regarding cryptographic strength. For critical security systems, use a certified password manager.
• Hash Generator: Hashing is performed in-browser. We make no guarantees about the correctness of results. Do not use for security-critical applications without independent verification.
• Image Compressor: Compression quality and output file size may vary. We are not responsible for image quality degradation, data loss, or corruption.
• URL Shortener: We do not guarantee the availability or longevity of shortened URLs. External links may lead to content beyond our control. FunMick is not responsible for the content of external sites.
• EXIF Reader: EXIF data is read locally. Accuracy depends on the image file's embedded data, which may be incomplete or incorrect.
• Base64 Encoder/Decoder: Provided as a convenience utility. Verify outputs independently for production use.
• Gradient Maker, Color Picker: Color rendering may vary across displays, browsers, and operating systems. We are not responsible for colour accuracy for design or print use.
• Pomodoro Timer: Timer accuracy depends on your browser's JavaScript timer implementation and may drift. Do not use for time-sensitive medical or industrial applications.
• Paste & Clean: The tool strips formatting from pasted text. We are not responsible for unintended data loss or modification of your content.

All game scores and results (Reaction Test, Speed Typer, etc.) are for entertainment purposes only and hold no official standing.

🛡 6. Limitation of Liability

This limitation applies regardless of the cause of action and whether such damages were foreseeable, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill.
• Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the Site.
• Errors, mistakes, inaccuracies, or omissions in any content or tools.
• Any unauthorised access to or alteration of your data or transmissions.
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Site (though we take reasonable precautions to prevent this).
• Any actions taken in reliance on AI-generated content or tool outputs.
• Interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed USD $10 (ten United States dollars).

You agree not to use FunMick for any of the following:

• Any illegal activity or purpose under applicable local, national, or international law.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
• Scraping, crawling, or systematically downloading content in a manner that places excessive load on our servers.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code.
• Using AI tools to generate content that is harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Submitting confidential, private, or sensitive third-party information to AI tools without the relevant party's consent.
• Attempting to misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created in contexts where this matters (e.g. academic fraud).
• Transmitting spam, malware, or any other harmful materials.
• Using the URL shortener to distribute malicious links, phishing attempts, or NSFW content without appropriate warnings.

We reserve the right to block access to users who violate these acceptable use conditions, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

All original content on FunMick — including but not limited to the site design, graphics, logos, game mechanics, tool interfaces, and written text — is owned by FunMick or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, display, or create derivative works from any FunMick content without our express written permission.

AI-generated content: Content generated by AI features based on your prompts may be used by you for personal, non-commercial purposes. You acknowledge that AI outputs are not guaranteed to be original, may resemble other content, and FunMick makes no copyright representations over AI-generated outputs. You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

Your inputs: You retain ownership of any text, images, or content you submit to FunMick tools. By submitting content to AI features, you grant FunMick a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

🔗 9. Third-Party Links & Services

FunMick may contain links to third-party websites or may depend on third-party services (such as AI APIs, CDN providers, and analytics). These are beyond our control. We:

• Do not endorse, review, or guarantee the content, accuracy, or safety of any third-party site or service.
• Are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services.
• Are not responsible for the content of URLs shortened using our URL Shortener tool — this is entirely the responsibility of the person who created the shortened link.

Use of third-party links and services is at your own risk. Please review each third party's own terms and privacy policies.

📡 10. Service Availability

FunMick is provided free of charge and on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access to the Site. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service permanently or temporarily, at any time, without notice and without liability to you.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the jurisdiction in which FunMick is operated, to the fullest extent permissible by law.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also be entitled to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence and benefit from any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
