FunMick ("we", "us", "our") is a free browser-based platform offering games, tools, AI experiments, and interactive experiences at funmick.com. We are a personal/independent project. No venture capital. No corporate overlords. Just humans who like building fun things on the internet.

By using FunMick, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of it, please stop using the site.

📊 2. Data We Collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. Here is what may be collected:

• Usage data (anonymous): Pages visited, time spent, general geographic region (country/city level), device type, browser type, and referring URL — collected via standard web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics or similar). This data is aggregated and never linked to you personally.
• Error logs: If something breaks, automated error logs may capture details about the failure (e.g. which browser, which page, error message). These are used solely to fix bugs.
• Voluntarily submitted contact information: If you use our contact form, we receive your name and email address. We use this only to respond to your message.

🚫 3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not:

• Require you to create an account or log in.
• Collect, store, or transmit the content you paste into tools such as Paste & Clean, Roast My Code, or the text-input AI features.
• Store passwords generated by our Password Generator — generation happens entirely in your browser and no value is ever sent to our servers.
• Read, store, or transmit photos or images uploaded to our Image Compressor or EXIF Reader — processing happens client-side in your browser.
• Retain your EXIF metadata. The EXIF Reader reads image metadata locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded to us.
• Sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
• Build advertising profiles about you.

💻 4. Local Processing & Your Files

We strongly recommend not uploading sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable files to any online tool. While we process locally, we cannot control browser extensions, ISPs, or other software on your device that might intercept local traffic.

🤖 5. AI-Powered Features

FunMick offers several AI-powered tools including AI Story Writer, Roast My Code, Vibe Check, Explain Like I'm 5, Random Fact Machine, Bio Generator, and AI Name Generator.

AI-generated content is provided for entertainment purposes only. Outputs may be inaccurate, offensive, nonsensical, or otherwise unsuitable. FunMick makes no representations about the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content. See our Terms of Service for full disclaimers.

We do not knowingly store your AI prompts or AI-generated outputs on our servers longer than necessary to serve the response.

🍪 6. Cookies & Local Storage

FunMick may use:

• Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics): anonymous, aggregate usage statistics. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
• Browser Local Storage: Some tools (e.g. Pomodoro Timer, World Clocks) store settings (like your timer preferences) in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by us.
• Session cookies: Standard technical cookies used to keep the site functioning correctly.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or fingerprinting techniques for behavioural advertising.

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect how some features of FunMick work.

🔗 7. Third-Party Services

FunMick uses the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:

• Google Fonts — for typography. Google may log your IP when fetching fonts. Google Privacy Policy
• Tailwind CSS CDN (jsDelivr / Tailwind CDN) — for styling. jsDelivr Privacy Policy
• AI API providers (e.g. OpenAI) — for AI-powered features. Their privacy policies apply to any text you submit to these features.
• Analytics provider — anonymous usage analytics. No personally identifiable data is shared.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party service. We encourage you to review their policies.

👦 8. Children's Privacy

FunMick is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the address below and we will delete it promptly.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the applicable age limit may be higher under local law (typically 16). Please comply with your local regulations.
